Rhythmic Gymnastics

4-14 yeard old

Rhythmic Gymnastics is an activity where you combine sport, dance, body expression and music.

Activity summary: All sessions are made up of 3 parts:  Warm-up, Main part and Warm-down.

As your child progresses and improves her/his gymnastic skills, sessions will be adapted to their level and increase in difficulty. Sessions will help them improve the below skills;

  • Body Expression.

  • Body difficulty groups: Balance, Flexibility, Rotations and Jump/Leaps.

  • Fundamental and non-fundamental apparatus technical groups (ribbon, rope, hoop, ball and clubs).

  • Pre-acrobatic and acrobatic elements.

  • Rhythm and Choreographies.

  • Basic Physical Qualities or Abilities: Strength, Resistance, Speed and Flexibility.

  • The game as learning technique.

  • Learning Spanish: To learn some vocabulary like colours, numbers, body parts and expressions.
